Thermobel
Thermobel, one brand name for all insulating glazing units of AGC
The thermobel range consists of the following products:
- Thermobel standard insulating glass
- Thermobel Top N+ extra insulating glazing
- Thermobel Energy N: extra insulating glass with solar control
- Thermobel Stopsol and Thermobel Sunergy: types of glazing with different levels of reflection, solar control and light transmission
- Thermobel Stopray: top range of solar-control glazing
- Thermobel Tri : triple glazing with very high thermal performances, from 0,9 W/(m².K) to 0,5 W/(m².K)
- Thermobel Phonibel: acoustic insulating glazing including Phonibel S and Phonibel ST
- Thermobel Stratobel: laminated safety glasses in single and double glazing
- Thermobel Structural Glazing: structural glazing in single panes or insulating glazing
- Thermobel VGG: for use in "VEC" application. The inner glass of the double glazed unit is fixed mechanically, not glued, to the structure of the façade
- Thermobel Lattices: double glazed units with built-in lattices
Thermobel insulating glazing units can be used to find the right solution for all kinds of applications: sound insulation, safety and security.
Benefits
- Twice as efficient as single glazing in terms of thermal insulation
- Can be supplied in various shapes and sizes
- Fuel savings; approximate savings depending on the type of triple glazing in litres of fuel per year (Belgian climate) for glass surfaces: 50 to 53 litres compared to a single-glazed unit and 20 to 23 litres compared to standard double-glazed unit Thermobel.
- Since Thermobel Tri has very low Ug values, the temperatures of the glass facing the inside of the building are very close to the ambient temperature inside the building.
- The risk of condensation is therefore even lower than with high-performance glasses with Ug values of 1.1 and more.
