Types : Safety mirrors

There are two ways to make mirrors safe:

by applying a polypropylene splinter-free film to the back of the mirror ( Mirox MNGE SAFE);

or by using a laminated assembly ( Sanilam in a 3+3 mm version).

Safety performance is comparable with both products: if broken, the glass splinters remain attached to the SAFE coating or to the interlayer in the laminated assembly. This also offers a higher level of resistance to corrosion (10-year guarantee).
